It has been pretty hard figuring out what my main features was but in the end it turned out pretty well.

I had to build the front view first to be able to adapt the elements to the side view. so i stepped back while designing and did the front view first.
Here's my progress line:

After finding out the basic proportions and key elements of my face I was able to move on to the fun part, yeah!

An the avatar finally started to look a little like me. So it was time to move on to refining the illustration.

The transformation into the side view was - other than expected - very easy. Having all the iterations and basic shapes I coul easily rebuild the avatar and skale and replace the parts until they did fit well.
And finally color and message - ok i´ve not been overly creative here... ;) And my picture for you to see how close it is.
