UPDATE 22/02/26: When cleaning up my desktop on the computer I found pictures of a third exercise I did for this class. A great way to practice having all the values in your piece. Look at it in black and white and all that contrast going on! You can also see that the gold is not so important for the structure of the piece - when it comes to value it blends right. Snaping a photo and turning it to b/w is always a good idea! Thought I'd share that with you.
I came home with a headache yesterday and since I use every free minute to work on creating a new Skillshare class myself, I also haven't taken the time for a regular art practice lately. But after watching your class on the train ride home I really felt like picking up my brush and filling a page with color. I felt much better afterwards! :-)
