Following the class step by step I decided to first practise the example eyes in pencil then move onto colouring. :)

Update: First cat eye painted! Im really pleased I learnt a lot about how eye reflection can give shape to the painting. :) Peacock I used a bit of artistic license on the Iris. Lizard has been my fav to paint so far with the contrasting colours.

Finished the Frog eye. This one has now overtaken Lizard as my fav project to work on. The wet skin and "shiny" style was a challenge to work on and overall has helped me build up my watercolour techniques.

I have finished the class and included a bonus eye of my own to try out some of the techniques learned. A lovely black lab. I am super pleased with the result! A really enjoyable short project!
