Mexico City, the unmentioned places

Mexico City, the unmentioned places - student project

Hi there, this is Alex, based in Mexico City. I was born and raised here, the second biggest city on the world, and one of the most populated. One one hand, this is an overpopulated and noisy city, on the other hand, you can find some calmed places to rest, to admire the skyline or take some photographs.

These places are often unmentioned abroad or even here, so then I decided to show you up our beautiful places, either museums or motor ways.

The shooting was made in several places which are representative for me or where I use to find some peace.

All pictures has been taken using iPhone 5S, edited with VSCO and Lightroom app for iPhone. Hope you enjoy this pictures, I have to improve quite a lot, so please, feel free to give me some advices, and do not stop visiting my Instagram feed: hello.eyal

This is a view from the Chapultepec Castle, located on the top of a high hill.

I have the privilege to live near the National Centre of Arts, this photo was taken on the bridge in front of the Centre. Usually, for me (believe it or not) I can find some calm in here.

This is one of the most representative places of Mexico City; the Frida Kahlo's house, "La Casa Azul". Wherein she was born, raised, and lived with her husband, Diego Rivera. This is the corner of the house. I think this place and Coyoacan where is located, are my favourite places.

This is the motor way (highway)  two blocks away from my house, full of trees, sun and peace
