Metal Etching Made Easy! Wine Tags to Jewelry

Metal Etching Made Easy! Wine Tags to Jewelry - student project

My name is Patty. I am an artist, photographer, illustrator and jewelry designer. I am going to share for my first class the technique I use to etch metal. (Brass is my favorite.)

Do you want to impress your party hosts by stepping up your bottle of wine?

Have you always wanted to make your own jewelry?

Do you want to expand your craft skills for personal use or profit?

This class will teach you the essentials of etching Brass, Copper or Nickel Silver. The techniques you learn here will allow you to etch your design into metal, creating your own unique wine tags to surprise your family and friends with. Small works of art, making each bottle special, guaranteed to impress the host. Perfect for Holidays, Birthdays, Anniversaries and Special Occasions.

The same technique can be used to create your own jewelry. The possibilities are endless.

Class project:

Since this class will be published before the holidays I thought wine tags would be a great project. I bring a lot of wine to holiday parties between November and December.

We will learn how to make a fun and unique wine tag made of Brass, Copper or Nickel Silver.

Thanksgiving, Holiday parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries, New Year's Eve, Valentines Day and Wedding Showers are just a sampling of special events than can utilize your tags.

Note: One thing I like about these tags for holiday parties is that they can double as an ornament.
