I chose the phrase 'Merry Christmas'. It is appropriate for this time of year, and I can envision it as monoline lettering. Maybe I can use it on a Christmas card.
I decided to vectorise the second sketch.
I increased the stroke width, expanded the stroke, and experimented with fill.
I went back to my original vector drawing, increased the stroke only a little, and added three circles to mark the beginning of the M and C and the dot for the i. I paired this version of the lettering with Christmas photographs. This seems the most effective way to use my monoline greeting
