Meme Share

UPDATE (4/9/13): Haven't had as much time for updates as I had hoped. So the site is pretty to-the-tutorial right now. But I did change my idea from Reel Seer to Meme Share. Enjoy!

UPDATE (4/3/13): Caught up! Finished tutorials so at this point I should get credit for the class (ie a certificate). Now I'll use the rest of the week to customize my app!

UPDATE (4/2/13): Still playing catchup. Should be caught up in a day or two. Currently up to Lesson 14 and about to begin Lesson 15.

--- MEMESHARE ----------------------------------

A meme (rhymes with "team") behaves like a flu or a cold virus, traveling from person to person quickly, but transmitting an idea instead of a lifeform.

Historically, a meme is a discrete "package of culture" that would travel via word of mouth, usually as a mesmerizing story, a fable/parable, a joke, or an expression of speech. Today, memes travel much faster than simple speech. As internet email forwards, instant messages, and web page links, memes now travel instantly via the Internet.

MEMESHARE is a place for posting your favorite meme pictures. Rememeber 'planking' or 'owling'... or perhaps you've seen some pictures from one of the more current memes where people are photographing their dogs wearing pantyhose or their cats faces poking through a slice of bread. Whatever the case may be, memeshare is the place to share your favorite meme pics!
