Marketing for Nova Vitamin Store

Nova Vitamin Store is a new retail subsidiary of Nova Laboratories Sdn Bhd (Nova Labs). Nova Labs is a Malaysia's Leader in Herbal Research & Development.

I am the person-in-charge of this retail subsidiary (everything from IT to operations to marketing). Coming from a nutrition & B2B sales background, I have zero marketing knowledge. 

I'm really excited about sharing this project with you guys. If you're the kind of person who believes in giving honest feedback and enjoys a bit of schadenfreude on a newbie... you're going to love commenting on this project. =) 

------------------------------------- Status Before Taking The Course -------------------------------

Nova Vitamin Store (NVS) is a new venture established in 2013 to create more brand awareness in Malaysian supplements market. Currently, most of our nutritional products are distributed through pharmacies (about 95%). 

One of the inspirations in creating NVS was from the book The New Rules of Retail (Robin Lewis & Michael Dart), where having more control over our own brand---especially on how our brand interacts with customers---is increasing becoming more more vital for our future. 

We currently have 4 outlets in various shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur, and we are opening 4-5 more new outlets this year.
