Mandala in Photoshop

Mandala in Photoshop - student project

Here is my mandala. This was a lot of fun to create! I used a combination of shapes and brushes to make it. (I will have to practice more with the pen tool because I had a lot of difficulty trying to make the leaf/petal shape.)

This next one features a pastel radial gradient (blend mode: Lighten).

After inverting the mandala I applied the same gradient and here is the result:

Here is the inverse version of the mandala with the cracked paint texture (blend mode: Color Burn) applied:

I played around with a different gradient (blend mode: Lighten) and applied the same texture (blend mode: Color Burn) to it.

Thank you Helen for another fun and informative Photoshop class!
