When I was doing my MBA, I met a fellow student who dabbled in stand up comedy. I went to a number of his shows, and what got my attention was the order in which he delivered his set and the response he'd get from it changed every time. My friend kept a journal of all his sets, the order he delivered jokes, and the response he got --- and it made me think, what if we could track all that data and comeup with a way to optimize your set over time?
It's not super scientific - but my goal is to build an app that let's a comedian build a set, joke by joke, and then keep track how each joke fared with the audience. I've done a little work coming up with some db structure/basic webapp -- but I want to focus on making it mobile and portable.
