Man Smoking Pipe

5e9c796e

I wanted my T-shirt to represent the prepared, spontaneity that I admire in Japanese and Chinese brush and ink paintings and which defines the Blue Bear Collective brand. With this in mind I took a pencil, brush, paint and a stack of printing paper and dashed off portraits for the next few hours. I eventually chose this image because I thought it looked urbane, modern and conveyed the underlying message of becoming one with our immediate surroundings through the smoke of the mans pipe forming his hair. In one of those happy coincidences, which Jeff described in one of his videos, the Blue Bear Collective acronym (B2C) can be found in the image. I put the logo at the bottom to add some color and because it reminded me of the seals seen in some Japanese and Chinese paintings.

Thanks for looking,
