Lumberjack's Daughter

Lumberjack's Daughter - student project

So I wanted to do a female character - the type of girl that doesn't mind to get her hands dirty. Also wanted her to wield something heavy, so I chose an axe. Finally I ended up blocking in silhouettes revolving around a "female lumberjack" theme.

I'm not that confident with my anatomy so I also had to sort of "verify" the silhouettes by underneath. This also helped me to better understand their pose and stuff.

After this, I picked the ones that seemed the most interesting to me and started building them up a bit.

This is the point where I need some feedback in order to continue with the variation phase. If anyone is watching this, please feel free to make suggestions and give feedback :). It will help me a great deal.

EDIT:

I come back with the final draft - picked the thumbnail I liked the most and made 3 variations on it. I feel like I still need to work on my rendering. Feedback will be greatly appreciated.
