Here's my final image. I'll probably rework it a bit down the road, but I really enjoyed the process.More progress. Almost ready for texturing.

I'm starting to put in the color and detail my illustration. Much to do, but I'm happy with the progress so far.

I realized that I'd gotten away from the main objective which involved using shapes to communicate the idea. So I've modified the style to be more shape-oriented. Tomorrow I'll start work on the vectors and refining the shapes and details a bit more. At that point I can start to add the color and hopefully breathe some more life into this image.
