I liked the people in shapes exercise the best - it really helped me break out of my tendency to try to draw people too realistically. This literary lady started out as a pentagon shape. She may or may not be missing a leg, but I didn't like any of my attempts at adding a back leg in, so there she is.
I didn't have time to do textures with actual ink, so I added some detail and shading digitally - I'd like to play around with ink another time.
It was really interesting to see my people change and become simpler with each iteration - I'll definitely use that trick again.
