Granted the title is pretty blase', and teh general consensus is that without specific goals you often fail.
So, specifically, i would like to lose about 100 pounds. more would be fine, and if i can lose even 80 I'll be pretty excited.
For a much more conservative, and short-term goal, 30 pounds.
I also want to get back into shape (round not being the shape i want) more in the sense of recovering my stamina and building myself back up.
Having been out of work for over a year and having a child to look after i have very much let myself slide.
I don't have a specific goal with this... It will likely come along naturally with the wieght loss, both from the increased physical activity, and from not carrying so much of me around ll the time.
