I'm about 100 pounds overweight and fall in to the apple shape category, which I've read is an especially unhealthy way of carrying extra weight. So for the sake of my heart health and overall health in general, I would like to loose at least some of this extra weight, but hopefully all of it.
I need to get my diet under control, right now I just eat whatever without really thinking about the calories and such. I need to eat less calories and make healthier food choices. SparkPeople suggests 1200-1550 calories a day.
I need to get moving. Right now I don't exercise at all, so I need to start doing some form of exercise. SparkPeople suggests burning 740 calories a week.
