Making a plan and sticking to it has never been my strong suit, but I am determined this time to stick to my plan.
So here is my deal y'all. I live in Arizona which equals very hot temperatures 90% of the time, and when it's not hot, (like right now) it's freezing cold, (we are breaking records and having highs in the 40's, which is very cold for us, usually that is a low!)
I love to swim, however, a pool is not readily available, and I can't afford to join a gym or anything.
So here is my goal, as much as I despise running, I think I will make myself get up to run every day. I have already been walking approximately 4.2 miles 5 days a week, and starting to jog a little bit for about 30 seconds every other minute or so, which I have read is a good way to train myself to run better. I would like to make a goal to be able to run every day, (and possible get to a point that I can enjoy it??)
My other goal is that when I graduate from college and get a job, I can join a gym, and go swim every day. When I was little I was on a swim team, and did that every day, and I always felt so good and looked really good too.
I have so many bad habits that I want to change, and one of them is my sweet tooth. I think I have the worst sweet tooth of anybody I know, so as a positive habit I want to change is to get my sweet tooth under control, and not snack on any candy. I would really appreciate any advice how I can do this without driving myself nuts, because it is an addiction for me.
