I am experimenting with adding a watercolor effect to my handwritten calligraphy. I have two (now three) designs I am working on for my church's new women's ministry. Oh, and I know the assignment was to write a word, but I thought I'd work on something I could use! :)

Alrighty, I drew a garland of leaves in illustrator and applied the watercolor effect in photoshop. I did them as separate smart objects and also edited them differently (I didn't want the ripple on the writing but I did on the leaves). I am debating about making the garland a different color from the writing... it will be fun to experiment.

Okay, I have been tweaking it, and I decided to do a wreath surrounding the lettering.
