4.18.13 UPDATE

I realize that I am updating this well after the class has ended, but I couldn't leave it undone. Here is my attempt at adding subtle texture and light to my design.

I'm not really satisfied with how this is turning out. I attribute it to the age-old problem of transfering what's in my mind onto the computer. I decided to just go ahead and post in hopes of getting some help/suggestions. I will continue working on it regardless (thinking of adding some smoke rising from the fire and other minor details).

This sketch is a result of several words that came up on my "Quiet" list. Night, woods & campfire all feel still and serene. The sketch shows more sky with a sliver of moon at the top to make the nature/night feel large and grand in comparison to the fire and tent.
