Life is not a Dress Rehearsal

My father repeated this line often. I heard it, but I probably was not "listening." My Dad passed away two years ago. Since he is gone this quote has become very significant to my life now. It reminds me to live in the moment, appreciate what you were given, use what is available and do right NOW.

I would like this illustration to be colorful, vintage Broadway circa the 30s. The words "dress rehearsal" have provoked theatre imagery. However, I fear being too literal.
