First I would like to thank you Brooke for your great classes. You really are an inspiration. This one helped me a lot to figure out where I should be heading. Still I would love to have your comment:

I am a graphic designer since more than 12 years and I've decided to start my illustration career few years ago.By the way, I would love to see you on Instagram (@fannyhh1).

For several reason I went back and forth from Montreal to Paris, where I am originally from. I had to come back to Montreal last year, and had to take a non creative day job that I hate. Now I am trying to shift on a freelance Illustration job, which is really difficult. I am a single mother, and even though he's 21 it's still a big job too and someone has to pay the bills. And because I have so little time I am overwhelmed with all that I should do and it paralyses me. I've had few contracts already but nothing really serious. I am the worst negociator ever. I have tons of ideas and desire, licensing, editorial illustration, children books, name it. I even made a course on Skillshare (I love to teach) on Art Journaling and have other ideas for more course that I would like to offer but I don't know how to organize myself with a day job that drains so much energy.

Where should I start? Am I too old and should I quit the idea of being a full time illustrator?

However I am happy to share my work with you.
