Lettering and Branding

Oh, hi there! My name is Shannelle, and this is my project. I'm thinking of selling some of the lettering I've been doing, and I've been wanting to learn more about branding, so this class seemed perfect.

First off, here's my mind dump

Keywords have been underlined. (And do excuse the misspelling.)

Who: Bookish, loves puns, young, approachable (hopefully), sarcastic (the punnier the better)

What: Bookish lettering, productivity and positive stuff, punny stuff

Where: Redbubble, Society6, Etsy and Storenvy for possible bookmarks

How: Word of mouth, the blog, Tumblr and Instagram

Amy is sixteen, and while balancing schoolwork, she's also spending her nights being in active in fandom communities. She loves browsing through photos of cute things (puppies!) and indulging in something creative. Besides her love for TV shows, she also has a love for books, and if there's one thing she loves more than those two, it's merchandise.

Maggie is a 40-something mother of two children, and she's proud to be an adult who loves young adult fiction. Nothing makes her happier than curling up in a chair at the end of a very long day and spending her time with a very good book or scrolling through Tumblr and looking at photos of even more books.

Brand mission statement

I create things for those who love themselves and appreciate words, with designs beginning with the letters first.

Logo

The Art of Escapism is my blog's name, and I wanted a logo that reflects my current design. What I love about it is that's it's really eye-catching.

Anyway, that's the end of it! I'd like to thank Faye for such an infomative class that's quick and easy to understand. I'll be waiting for Part 3!
