Lens Flares, Ring of Fire, and Prisms in Photography

My 6th class is about creating lens flares and using copper pipes to make the "Ring of Fire"
I'm really excited for this class, I've been obsessed with these techniques as I've seen them roll through my fb feed. I'm running a giveaway for a $20 Amazon gift card to be randomly awarded to one lucky person who posts a Lens Flare photo in the project section of this class before July! I'm hoping this giveaway will help students get excited to take pictures and share with everyone.

I'm so excited! I reached my personal goal of publishing 5 Skillshare classes! This photography class is a great sister-course to my Shutter Speed class I published a couple months ago.

This class dives into the nitty gritty of Aperture. I go through Depth of Field, Bokeh, f/stops, and lenses!

If you wanna hone your Manual Mode photography skills, take a look!

ETA: I published my class and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It is free for 2 days and then Premium after that. I've shared my link to Facebook to encourage my friends to take a look and then I've also texted my family about it so they can watch too :)

I have to admit I hit a huge roadblock when I saw that Skillshare published a quick (really great) DIY video for making a lightbox last week. I had just finished filming and I was really excited to get my class up when I saw that video in my FB feed! After wrestling with it for a few days I realized that my class still had a ton of extra tips and dives deeper into the process for students who want more guidance as well as ways to customize your box to suit your needs. I realized there was still a place for my perspective here so I decided to go ahead with it as originally planned.

That being said I still feel just a little weird about the whole situation but I finished my intro video and I'm really happy with it. It is so much better than my first class! My audio improved, my camera presence was a bit better and the class is just packed with tons of information.

Here's a link to my Channel Plan

My channel theme isn't set yet. I'm thinking craft related videos from apparel and sewing to yarn and knits, but I also would like to teach more photography related courses. I'll probably put up a variety of different courses and then hone in on the class types that receive the best feedback. But I'm open to suggestions!

ALSO if you watched my intro on youtube, does it seem quiet or is it a good volume?
