Learning the magic touch

Learning the magic touch - student project

I was currently working on some tropical fruits and flowers with birds that I can share here as a premise.

I love how Cat is using the white space between objects, and how she adds ton of shades in order to make it more interesting.

I am gonna do all the projects the best I can, and than using this new found knowledge to incorporate this to my own style.

Here’s what I did the past 2 months:

Now, here’s the project:

It’s mixed media paper and I tried before and was struggling… This technique, going from section to section, really allows the painter to treat every part before it’s dry. Anyway, it’s far from perfect, but I am glad how it turned out!!
