Learn Japanese for Beginners (Katakana)

To anyone who has a desire to begin learning Japanese, you have come to the right place.

Miko is a bilingual Japanese-American who graduated with a major in Japanese, and has lived in Japan since she graduated in 2009.

In this class, you will learn the very basics of Japanese, being with the Katakana writing system. I highly recommend that you begin your studies with Katakana first, because of the challenges they present. Many Katakana look similar to each other, and the way they are used to simulate foreign words can be puzzling. However, if you get the hang of it, the rest of learning Japanese will be much easier.

This is the perfect lesson to get you started on your language learning. Whether you are traveling there and would like to get around more easily, or if it's your burning desire to learn Japanese.
