LISTEN TO ME - student project

I'm a little late to this party so I got to scope out the wonderful projects that everyone has submitted. Mind = blown.

For my own, I'm doing Quiet and immeadiately = dead people (they make the best neighbors!) but lost interest in it. Then reading + books brought me to trasnportable quiet places. I wanted the quiet to convey emotion tho, because usually it's associated with peace or sweet, soft emotions. I wanted this one to be threatening, menacing & doom-filled. MUA HA HA.

BAM! Eye of the cyclone.

Life-threatening thunderstorms ring a peaceful eye that gazes benevolently down on any trespassers for the short span of time they get left in this world. LISTEN TO ME - image 1 - student project

Got excited and added a bit of texture...

I want the middle bit to be soft & water-color like and edges to be hard & pointy.

Taking apart the elements -

Based on this color palette/light use in photo:

I tried to incorporate that into my image and make it look more like an eyeball:

Needs work and more texture but I'm loving the center bit of eye so far.
