LIFE COACH, FITNESS COACH, HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACH

LIFE COACH, FITNESS COACH, HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACH - student project

The aim of this project is to achieve the goal of helping the client find fulfillment through life balance.

The G.R.O.W. model will be used. GROW is an acronym that stands for: Goal. Current Reality. Options  (Obstacles). Will (Way Forward).

It will encourage the client to commit to being in the program for the medium to long term, and to agree to do the work necessary to bring the plans to maturity.

SECTION ONE: GOALS.

Goals that are specific, measurable, achievable and realistic will

Personality Types as investigated during a pre-coaching session should be compatible.

QUESTIONS

  1. Would you like to introduce yourself?
  2. How did you get to know about me?
  3. What would you expect to get from the coaching?
  4. What approaches do you think are necessary for the coaching to be successful?
  5. Is there a goal, something worthwhile to be gained in the short term?

 MOIRA’S GOALS

  1. to accept the need to be herself, not what others think she is or should be
  2. to do the work necessary to get her mind and body in shape
  3. to commit to follow up on long-tern goals, after short term goals have been met.

COMMENTS

Discussions with Moira might reveal that she expects the coaching experience to extend to all levels and all interactions, keeping the focus on her changing needs and goals.

The coaching plan, therefore,  starts by focusing on the client’s current beliefs and circumstances, and resultant behaviors,  awareness of how beliefs held and consequent behaviors and behaviors will affect the client’s future and plan for future that is both desirable and attainable for the client.

SECTION TWO: REALITY

Moira has shared that she is very unhappy because:

she could not overcome what she sees as obstacles to reaching her goals. She has a poor self-image from being moderately overweight, but cannot commit to any diet plan so far.

QUESTIONS FOR MOIRA

What do you know about famous persons who overcame early failures and achieved great things in life?

Would you be willing to apply the same principles to your life?

What additional guidelines would you need?

Would you be willing to apply some additional guidelines from these sessions to yourself?

ACTIONS OR SMALL STEPS WHICH WILL HELP TO ACHIEVE THE GOAL

What is your goal related to what is happening in your life now?

What is stopping you from achieving it? (internal/external)

What are the benefits for you in achieving this goal?

Who else will benefit and in what way?

What will it be like (hearing/seeing/feeling) when you achieve your goal?

HOW THE ACHIEVEMENT OF EACH STEP WILL BE MEASURED

Keeping a personal journal, measurement, scale, before and after photos

BARRIERS THAT MAY INHIBIT THE ACHIEVEMENT OF EACH STEP AND STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING THEM

How will you deal with loss of interest (motivation)?

What strategies can be applied to increased demands by job/family responsibility?

SECTION THREE : OPTIONS INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY

Moira wants to be more productive, so that she will get more money, better health and overall success

Consulting with  her own personal coach takes a few hours of time. But  Moira will gain all the essential skills to get her mind and body, in shape, and she’ll lose weight along the way.

QUESTIONS

What challenges have made the greatest impact on your life?

What negative events have made most impact over your life?

Which approaches have you used to try to deal with your pain?

 DISCUSSION

  • What do you think of the idea can accept the idea that peace comes by moving through and beyond pain?
  • Would you consider accepting comfort from others, or is it better to learn how to comfort yourself?
  • What is your attitude to seeking tranquility through traditional methods, such as meditation, fine arts, and nature?

 SECTION FOUR: WILL

EXPLORNG APPROACHES TO HELP THE PROCESS OF EMOTIONAL HEALING

  1. Consider the following, whether they might help you to feel better:
  • Are there fresh approaches to stopping the pain?
  • Would you like to reflect on what you need to do to put a stop to so-called ‘negative emotions’ that contribute to that pain?

  1. Accept Change

Increasing productivity means that you must make some important decisions. You will not hesitate to take up the challenge to change.

You will, therefore, be prompt in starting the journey to increasing productivity in your everyday life.

You will not give up, even if you feel overwhelmed with the burden of the task at hand, and exhausted with the effort of continuing after a pause.

COACHING CONTRACT

As time goes on, I expect my systems to become accustomed to a new rhythm which may lead to a significant increase in my energy and  peace of mind. I expect productivity in my daily life to increase, and I expect to reach each goal, by all the agreed methods.
