Kewl

KELLY!

I'm exploring the word "Kewl", and posted some of the process below. I was hitting a bit of a hurdle with the overall look and feel of the monogram- kewl is more of a playful word, and right now it still looks very flowy and ornate. Maybe the irony of it could be a good look overall, though.

Also trying to not over complicate where the letters touch in the middle. Trying to get the right spacing and overlap where necessary to cut down on the bits of each letter intersecting. 

Still looking at letterforms in other monograms from some of the sources you mentioned. I'm into combining some Scandinavian folksy forms and flourishes / colors as well. Any advice much appreciated and I'll keep plugging away...
