Kevin's odd bodies!

Kevin's odd bodies! - student project

I did only the first 2 projects. I'm trying to up my game in terms of gestures and poses, so this class was a good occasion to test sports poses, in a naive style. It was really fun, I learned a lot and it was very rewarding!

Project 1

Not so happy about the result, could have been better, but it was very fun to do. I chose a basketball player from the 80's

This was my ref:

I know it's all about flatness but I could not resist and added some shadows

A friend who is a professional artist told me: walk before you run! and sent me this:

Project 2:

This was really really fun! I chose mexican catch (lucha libre), because it's colorful, you have bodies together in action, and it's fun! I cheated because I could only find a tiny tiny notebook so I did each one on separate pages and made the layout digitally.
