Thank you, Liz, for your class.
I´ve finished the first part and here are my results.

Inspiration board - my beloved wood pigeon, New Zealand Kereru, and some kiwi plants (eucalyptus, kowhai and pohutukawa tree). I also included palette, which is on a separate layer for convenience later on.
Sketch.

Ink. I´ve found out that I make most changes in the process of inking.

Finalized piece. At least I thought it was for a while.

More changes.

And my colour alterations. I loooove the pink one (up, on the right).
I have a lot of fun doing the second project - silhouettes art is one of my favourites. I also pick bird, cause - you know, birds are awesome. This one, Spatuletail Hummingbird, especially.

So I picked this one and since he has a pretty special form I decided to use just him, not bother with another object. I tried several other bird forms but I was unhappy with the overall composition.

Bird, some berries, big flower and looots of leaves.

Finished piece.

And some fun color alterations. I actually quite like the right down one.
Thank you, Liz!
