Keith Haring Illustrated

I've always loved Keith Haring, for his passion for art and his desire to live life to the fullest.  I've done a series of drawings of Keith Haring in charcoal but felt that an illustration with ink would allow me to eventually color it in with watercolor or digitally.  The images below are drawings I've done of Haring in charcoal...

...but I wanted to do more.  Although I don't want to get in the habit of having to draw the same thing twice I had a further story to tell with that composition and I ended up with the image below:

In a recent series of commissions I used ink on these reproductions of historic maps printed on watercolor paper.  Inking is a fantastic way to draw these homes, particularly with the precision of the brush with a very light touch.  

This was a terrific class and I'm hoping you also offer one with coloring techniques (or maybe your coloring assistant would be able to too??).
