Keep on experimenting. - student project

I have enjoyed this project so far. I felt that it was particularly clearly explained. I could hear each step and it was well taught. I am keeping with Photoshop as it is all new to me. I got a bit lost when the layers were grouped twice and then merged. I didn't know why this was done. I worked it out in my own way. I liked the result for January .Is there a mistake in the letters for the days, I changed the R to a T (for Thursday).

I am getting better at working out the steps, even though the pages are not absolutely consistent in layout.

I may have worked out the layer mask etc. now! Will I remember the steps??

As you can see I am working in random order as the mood takes me. I have to paint the rest of the months now. I enjoy watercolour, but don't have much patience waiting for the layers to dry.

So not looking for the sympathy vote or anything, but I have just, unfortunately, found out how difficult it is to use the computer with a broken wrist! Especially when one needs to hold two keys down at once.

So here is a gloomy October.
