This is the first picture I chose to make a simple kaleidoscope....

Here are the two I made to begin with....

Then I experimented with filling the entire canvas with an offset layer, a hue/saturation layer, and different blend modes.....

I chose a different picture to work through the smart object kaleidoscope.....

I absolutely loved the class.....I used to make kaleidoscopes from photos by hand. I would get 4-6 copies of a photo the way it was taken and 4-6 copies in reverse (it was so hard to explain to the person developing my film negatives......that's how long ago this was!!) I would eye ball the same triangular shape with each picture and fit them together. This way is sooooo much easier and sooooo much more accurate. I especially like the smart object method.....so easy to go back in and tweak or just change your triangular piece of the photo!

Thanks, Helen, for another awesome class! I so much enjoy your short tutorials and have so much great teaching and tips for me! I always come away with great results.
