K11 Productions 1

The year of '94, I listened to an album in its entirety for the first time in my life. The album was Snoop Doggy Dogg's, Doggy Style. To me Snoop just had good songs and I could tell that most of his lyrics were freestyles. But with Dr. Dre's production, it made everything Snoop and the Dogg Pound said sound great. After that day, I fell in love with music production. I couldn't afford any equipment until 4 years later. I bought my first peice of equipment, a Zoom RhythmTrak 234 drum machine. After learning how to use the drum machine, I started to create song after song after song. Though I've been creating since the late 90's, I still have problems mixing down my tracks. Have loved to create music but cant seem to make my production in reality sound like the way it sounded in my head. I like to create simple tracks but end up adding unnecessary sounds to keep it from sounding empty. I'm hoping i can take something from the class and all help is welcomed.
