So I took all of the half-started paintings that I have thought were horrible and put them in a pile on my desk. I plan to just go in and do some creative playing on the images - since they should probably be thrown out anyway. Or at least paint on the backside so that I don't feel like I am wasting paper.
I have been enjoying the process of just painting and filling in spaces with color.
I think I am my own worst critic and doing this intuitive exercise will help me to build confidence on new techniques and also experiment with how different effects will work. This sometimes is what keeps me from painting in the first place because I don't want to make mistakes. I want things to be perfect from the start.
The words were already on the paper - for my intuitive process I just filled in around the words.
