Hello! Well, I am taking this class more for the line drawing aspect. so the things I colored were colored using brush pens. I don't have any drawing training and I'm just taking classes for fun. So here is what I have produced.
This is my initial sketch. I was worried at this point. I basically was feeling like, what did I get myself into? My lines are wiggly and I can't draw a straight line. but hey, this is more than I thought I could do.
Once I traced felt a lot more confident. I never thought I could draw something like this. Also as I started tracing, I noticed some of the building elements were missing, i.e., the columns, so I put cute planters there.
I started to feel a little more confident, so I decided to sketch out a Japanese street. Here is my line drawing:
And with color, and final product:
I like it. The "Japanese characters" are kind of wonky. I think the top ones are numbers, one means "moon", one means "cat". Others, I am not sure. I apologize for that as I don't speak Japanese. Oh and the smears are a result of a 2 year old with wet hands that loved my picture. My bad.
Anywho! Thanks for the lesson. Great lesson for a beginner like me. :)
