Totally did this wrong the first time around. Let me start over!…

Hey everyone

My name is Henry Kaye.  I'm from New Jersey.  I play in a band full-time and have done all of our design work since we started in high school.  I've only just recently begun doing some outside work for other friends bands and projects.

I'm choosing to do a design for Flip Skateboards.  Always been a huge fan of the company and the people involved.  Specifically the work that Jon Contino has done there has been awesome!

Hopefully I can continue in the path of an old school hand-made look that I think has been working well for the company.

I've always been a sketcher.  And currently I'm just trying to find a balance in my work between sketches and clean ready-for-print designs.  I think sometimes the charm of a drawing get lost in translation for me once I've scanned it and brought it over to a computer screen. But hopefully with practice and this class I can get better at the digital end of things.

Really looking forward to this class and working with everyone. I'm already a big fan of everyone's work.
