Thank you Anne for this class! I find every class of yours inspiring.
My inspiration at the moment; my yard in Greece.
I followed the two first prompts; #7 'Nature in watercolor' and #8 'Nature in pencil'. I picked a yellow flower (not sure what it is, it grows like a weed here in our yard) and picked up a hibiscus flower and bud, and a couple jasmine flower fallen from the trees, along with a couple leaves (vine leaf and another one I am not sure what!).
Nature in watercolor: I swatched all the colors I could see in the flowers and leaves, matching the brown and green and yellow when these colors were in a single (vine) leaf, for instance. The different reds are from the front and the back of the hibiscus petals. The purplish white are for the jasmine flower. This was fun!
Nature in pencil: Here is the pencil sketch of all the flowers and leaves. Fun time to spend an afternoon while kids are playing!
Here is the 'collection' together of the 'Nature in watercolor' and the same 'Nature' in pencil!
