Informational interview request

Hello Felllow Learners,
I'm currently looking for work in managment consulting and trying to connect with companies I'm interested in. I'd very much appreciate your input on how I can make my emails more impactful.
Note: I borrowed some lines from other Skillshare members that I thought were great. Thank you for the inspiration! I hope you don't mind.

EMAIL #1: Request for Informational Interview
Hi Natalie,

It was great meeting you at the IBM information session last week!  It's exciting to hear about the new developments going on with the company and the work you do.

I'd like to get the chance to hear more about your experience at IBM.  I think I could learn a lot from your insights and journey with the firm if you're open to sharing them [borrowed from Anna M.].  As you know, I'm in the process of exploring career opportunities and seeing where someone with my unique background and skills would be the best fit (I've attached my resume for your reference).
I'm wondering if you'd be available for a 15 minute chat sometime this week or the next.  I plan to listen closely and return the favor sometime soon [borrowed from Patricia B.].

Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon!

Kind regards,

Bruce Winter

EMAIL #2: Thank You Email after an Interview

Hi Ms. Ortiz,

I want to thank you for taking the time to talk with me about the current opportunity at IBM.  I enjoyed our conversation and getting to know you better as people and professionals.  I left our brief meeting wanting to hear more and learn more aboutIBM and the work that you do.

My interest in being an active player in building the management consulting practice intensified after our conversation last week.  Your philosophy for creating collaborative, meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients is something that sets the company apart and that closely aligns with my values.

I like that there is room to grow the brand in the HR processes arena and a need for creativity in delivering new solutions to clients.  The entrepreneurial aspects of the job are a good match for my ability to provide guide clients and colleagues through ambiguity.
I hope we can find time in the future to continue the conversation.  In the meantime, please expect my invitation request for LinkedIn shortly and do keep in touch.  And let me know if there's anything I can be helpful in any way.

Kind regards,

Bruce Winter
