Thank you Ohn Mar for this amazing class! Not sure where to begin, as the class is full of useful information, and I am a newbie to the marketing-business side of art. I have been painting for 3 years now, after a 3-decade break! I am enjoying the paint and paper aspect of it, and absolutely not the digital part, when it comes to illustrations. I do not have Photoshop, and am very reluctant to get it, as it now only comes in membership and not as before when you could buy it just once. My level of business (zero right now) does not justify a membership to Photoshop. So I feel a bit stuck there.
I did open a couple art licensing sites; Society 6 and RedBubble, even Etsy, but I did not upload anything to any of those sites. I felt when I had opened them, that I didn't have enough original artwork to keep up. Also, not sure how to market myself. I use Instagram, but I barely have any followers, even though I post a lot.
And about Pinterest; I just started my account! You just gave me a nudge. We will see if that helps me in my creativity, I am curious about that. So far I have the following interest categories:
- Crete (because I live there right now and I love it!)

Also, I have been wanting to start a website for a while now, I thought maybe Wix because it is (was?) free, but I am unclear of all the features it offers. Here are my brief thoughts on that:
So when it comes to painting or illustrations, I like all the categories mentioned above, food - mainly fruits and vegetables, but also desserts and such, flowers and botanicals, animals and landscapes. I like to do things on a whim, and then put it out for sale, and I am not sure how I would take feedback from a client for illustrations. Especially because I am not using Photoshop, so I may need to restart an illustration over and over every time it needs a change. I would love feedback on that!
