I Need More Cowbell, Baby

This is my idea board, so far.

The first font is for the supporting script

The second font is for "COWBELL"

The Moon Pie sign is the layout concept

Colors I'm thinking about. Mostly the blues, but a punch of another color

The cow and cowbell will be the main graphics

I would LOVE any feed back. When listing ideas (the brainstorming part) I was a little low on inspiration.

Thanks!

Font Practice:

I like the Serif best.

My thumbnails. I like aspects of each:

The one with the  cow is working for me. However, I think for design purposes, I might leave off the "baby" and bring the cow out a little more from the frame.

I like the funky 60's feeling with the bottom design. This one may work better in a rectangular frame instead of a circle.

The top left is probably my least favorite. I think I'm going to focus on the other two.

A larger sketch of the rectangular one:

I'm having a hard time withe the curved lettering. Part of the problem is that I don't have a compass right now. This is a strong 60's vibe to me.

Here is the the one with the cow, which is more along the lines of what my moodboard concepts were:

I think I need to take a break, because neither are doing anything for me!

Here is one with just the cowbell:

Finally was able to get a compass, and it makes a BIG difference! Any feedback is welcome. Thanks!

I'm liking the feel of this, with the first large sketch.

Just wanted to add this sketch:

Had an idea when my dog had to go out at 4am today. I think I'm going to try a small cow and small cowbell in th lower corners, kind of like the example (cat and drink).

Updated sketch, adding in some details. I've not darkened anything in yet, as I am still on getting it to look the way I want it to look.

Wanted to add the progress ( taken with my iPad instead of the scanner)

Okay.  I think I'm almost ready to start finalizing, but would love feedback, especially on the cowbell text.

I'm a little nervous putting this up here. This is my first inking, and I think I'm going to try it again. I don't like how everything came out, but practice makes perfect right? I did some colorization in photshop to match the inspiration photo

Very happy with this one (so far). It has a "complete" look to it with the elements added to the bottom. I'm not finished with it yet, but it's progress!

Here is the final product. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it. I went ahead and added color and texture.

As always, any feedback is more than welcome! Thanks for following me on this journey! I so enjoyed taking this class.
