I Don't Have A Problem With Coffee, I Have One Without It

___________________________________________________________________________________

Final Update

After going to bed I kept thinking about the final finished project, and when looking back at my original sketches, realised I preferred the imperfect quality to the cold hard lines of the computer. So I traced over the whole thing, fixed a lot of the curves, fleshed them out better, and put it back into Illustrator. Much happier with this final result.

Update 5

This is as close to finished as it's going to get for the close of this class. Thanks Neil for the excellent knowledge, and thanks everyone for your thoughtful comments and encouragement.

Update 4

Really happy with this fix for the wording and spacing, as I think this helps a lot with readability. Ready now to experiment with thick and thins in the cursive parts, and then move onto colours and textures.

Update 3

Finished vectors on all the words, now playing with the composition and working to better fill in some of the dead spaces.

Update 2

Finished vectorizing the coffee lettering, now for the hard stuff...

Update 1

A lettering project inspired by the immortal words of my friend and fellow coffee addict Nicky.

Looking at it now, I just realized that I've been writing it wrong all this time! Guess I can remove my second "problem"...
