My company, Humanizing History, is developing a supplemental curriculum model to help social studies teachers generate more student interest by using lesson plans that integrate art and music with the required state curriculums.
I provide 1-2 day lesson plans that can be easily 'slipped' into a teacher's unit plan that are both educational and entertaining. There are links to state standards for every activity, and guidelines how to prep, manage, and assess each lesson. Each activity has all the research done for the teacher's benefit and includes suggestions on how to 'connect' the activity to prior or upcoming topics.
Do I create a website and sell on my own or do I try to market to an education based company and let them pay me big bucks for the work?
