How To Stir-fry Flat Rice Noodles Or Char Kway Teow

Class Description

Students will learn how to make Fried Flat Rice Noodles or Char Kway Teow. The name ‘Char’ is derived from the Chinese term for ‘fried’, while ‘kway teow’ refers to ‘‘flat rice noodles’, which is the main ingredient. The flat rice noodles are made from wet-milled rice flour.

Class Project

Start cooking this easy and delicious fried rice noodles.  It is alright if you can’t get all the ingredients. You can replace the Chinese sausage with thinly sliced meat, use other types of noodles or spaghetti to replace kway teow or flat rice noodles. If you don't like chives, replace with scallions. Go ahead and whip out your version of Fried Noodles.
