How One Man Eats

Business Model

How One Man Eats consists of clothing, skills in photography, cinematography, and the ability to look for the hidden gems in the Inland Empire. Our business is to expose the raw talent that is often overlooked and reveal the realities of the world that is clouded by the fog of our vast city.

The human resources include 3 owners, who each have different skills. One has skills in management and business, one in graphics and photography, and one in accounting and public relations. We will need to hire people who are skilled in promotions and marketing.

Our customers are in the millennial group. Our customers will gain both knowledge and experience whether through our timeless clothing or through our fun filled events.

The hardest part of starting a business is marketing, but our business offers uniqueness by displaying local artists and showing the people the world’s unnoticed realities. We plan on continuing to reveal the hidden gems in cities.

How One Man Eats is a company that revolves around what we love to do and what needs to be seen. We give a voice for those that can’t be heard and eyes for those that are blind. We do this for a reason…

Freelancer vs. Entrepreneur

When I initially thought about the business I wanted to get into I believed that I wanted to be able to control everything about the business. From the creative direction to the marketing of our company, I felt that I had to have my fingers into every part of my business because it is “My Business,” but my feelings towards this subject has changed. I feel that the company I want to create needs to be bigger than myself.

I was always told in school that we should “Hire people that are better than you.” Working as a store manager, I go through every interviewee thinking if they can replace me or not. If I feel that there is a possibility that they can do the job better than me then I’ll hire them. With this mindset I plan to find people who can do the various jobs of the business without me having to dabble my fingers in it. For example, I’m not a wiz at marketing, so I need to find someone great at marketing or I’m not good at graphics, so I’ll hire someone that can do graphics and the list goes on.

I would like to consider myself as an entrepreneur, but I do know that this will come in time and through many mistakes.
