I graduated as a fashion designer. I worked a few years in London in the fashion industry. When I was expecting my first son, two and a half years ago, we moved back to Transylvania.
I became full time mom. I fall in love with surface pattern design, mostly because I wanted to decorate our house and to be able to make my own prints for my clothes. Whenever I had a little time I took courses here on skill share mostly. My dream is to become a licensed surface pattern designer.
Now I'm expecting for this spring my second son. I don't know how am I going to menage it, but I really need to build some habit in my life for daily art practice even for a few minutes.
In the next 14 days I would like to improve my watercolor and ink skills.
Summary after 14 day:
I think it helped me a lot to know in advance that what I'm going to paint each day. I was definitely quicker after a few days. Some day it took me 45 min and the quickest day was under 15 min. It was a few quick day which was not by my choice, and I'm not happy with each result but I'm glad I tried to go thru with my first ever challenge.
-Trying to loosen up with watercolor.
-I enjoyed making the quick background wet on wet blob.
This definitely took me more than 10 min :)) I'm trying to speed up my process loosen up be more confident.
