House Animation Build

So peak season at the day job and a preparing for the arrival of our first child has made finding time for this workshop difficult. Who knew? As such I'm playing from behind, but I'll do my best to make up the time and contribute.

I've done a rough version of the house we currently live in. I plan to do some more refining before getting to the animation this weekend. In the meantime, any feedback in regard to the design itself, or if any elements are going to be problematic when it comes to animation is welcome and appreciated.

Mysteriously can't get some of the precomps to align to the center. The below image shows one of the columns, with the layer selected and the bounding box existing at comp size.

After some feedback and a lot of head scratching I managed to resolve the problem...though I'm not 100% sure how. My best guess is that there were some objects that were grouped in the AI and AE didn't appreciate it. As of the below shot, I'm moving on to animating and hoping I broke the objects up in a way that will make sense.

I'm going to go with the better late than never philosophy. I finally got around to finishing it up. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next class.
