HONOR YOU  is a personal image consulting agency.  Founded by award winning personal stylist, Kendra Charisse Porter, her method of bodycentric styling teaches women to embrace their shape no matter their size and love the skin they’re in. Specializing in fitting fuller figures, Honor You caters to clients from a size 6 to 26.  From undergarments to overcoats we've got you covered.

PERSONAL | At Your Service:

  • Image Consultation:  During this one-on-one process, you’ll discuss your goals and learn how to choose clothes that flatter your shape and your size while highlighting your personality.
  • Personal Shopping: Don’t have the time or the patience? Let Honor You shop for you choosing the appropriate clothes that will enhance your natural beauty.
  • Wardrobe Assessment:  Honor You will help make the best use of what you have and recommend new items to freshen up your wardrobe. Learn to keep it, toss it or donate.
  • Closet Reorganization & Customization:  Can’t make heads or tails of what’s in your closet?  Still have tags on your clothes?  Honor You will help sort through your wardrobe and organize your closets and drawers so things are easy to find. 

RETAIL | At Your Service:

  • Designer & Retailer Consultation:  Desiging for the plus size market can be a challenge, especially when you haven't lived in a plus size body.  Learn how to give customers not only what they want but they need.  Understand not only the physical needs but the psychological needs of your shopper.
  • Educational Seminars: For sales associates - teach associates how to help your customers find just what they're looking for and to learn how to address their needs. They will learn how to address a customer's shape and find alternatives to looks that work best increasing customer satisfaction and decreasing store returns.
  • Fashion Presentations: Looking for new ways to create added value for customers?  Honor You can create specialty in-store events catering individually to customers with personal makeovers or creating group events on how to dress for your shape or how to incorporate the latest trends into your wardrobe teaching shoppers how to develop their personal sense of style.

Kendra Porter is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International, has been certified as an Image Consultant by the Fashion Institute of Technology, trained by Stacy London of TLC’s What Not to Wear and also serves as the New York Market Manager for Style for Hire co-founded by the celebrity stylist.  Kendra alongside her work have been featured by the bodyheart campaign,Yahoo! and eHow as well as magazines such as Marie ClaireSHAPE and Black Enterprise.

  4. The Style Rx: Tips on dressing for your shape
  5. Daily/Weekly feel good quotes or Self-Love Mantras (General)
  6. Daily/Weekly feel good quotes (Specific)Taken from one of Gary's interviews - Specific Honor You quotes from interviews/lectures I've done turned into images.
  7. Monthly Spreecast Q&A - I remember when Spreecast first came I wanted to do this but I didn't want to be in front of the camera (sort of still don't but its a necessary evil)
  8. Curated Content: Go back to weekly sales post on pinterest of fashionable plus size items (stopped because of time). Ask audience what are they looking for and try and find it for next sales post. Ask what their favorite item is in the sales post.
