I bought a slice of tiramisu from Mike's Pastry, a local Boston bakery that is pretty famous for their cannoli. Their tiramisu, however, was a little disappointing. It was a little to cakey, and didn't have a very strong cofee or alcohol flavor.
I made a traditional tiramisu, with homemade ladyfingers. We edited this part out, but on our first try, we dropped an entire tray of piped ladyfingers on the kitchen floor! Little kitchen disasters happen all the time, and they turned out just fine.
