Hike Every Day! - student project

I followed along with the class, warming up with 30 second sketch poses and then 2-5 minute poses.

Then I moved onto faces...

I used a man for my character's emotion practice because I was originally going to create a fly fisherman with the acrobatics of a ribbon twirler. But, I just couldn't get it to work, so I'll be saving that one for later!

I instead chose something close to my heart - hiking and dogs. I used the shape of the triangle to impart the strength of her character and a downward triangle to suggest the weight of her load.

...and, after line work and a quick color:

This class is so full of character building insight, I really enjoyed it. Thanks!
